As parents or teachers we want to give our children tools to be effective and happy in their lives.
The ability to narrate is one of those amazing tools that your children can use in their whole life span.
Effective children are able to narrate because they have a great teacher and tool which is story telling.
Some of the aspects that story telling has got are
You know how to put in order your thoughts. Which means you can effectively communicate your ideas your thoughts your designs your needs and make the others to understand you.
You use imagination. Stories have got imagination which also is it an aspect of a person which can be creative which can make new worlds, a person who can imagine and design new ways of problem solving and this way he/she can be very effective in his life in his job in his daily relationship or in love relationships.
Also narration is usefull for the creation of a plan as it has got the start point a middle point and an end point which are needed if someone wants to be able to create a plan in order to achieve his or her goals.
Narration or storytelling is a way with which we can communicate with other people’s emotions.
A child who can narrate also is in contact with its own inner child.
So you can understand why story and fairy tale books are a great present for Christmas and for every other season or time through the year. They’re valuable and they can add value do your children’s life.
You can help your children to organize their narrations while:
- Asking them, when, who, what?
- Listening carefully
- Narrating to them
